When we first came up with the idea of filming a horror movie, the group and i agreed to do it in an abandoned area with a torn up room to give it the haunted effect so that it looked like an actual nightmare setting. The image below is an idea of what we wanted the area to look like:
Thursday 5th November
My group mate went out on this date to find a perfect location near his house and took a few images of the suitable areas of where we can set up our props without them being ruined or taken away by strangers. Some of the abandoned houses couldn't be entered due to construction going on in the area, however Qatar's law states that workers must stop working at 7 o'clock in the evening mostly on a weekend; this makes it easier for the group and myself as our shots will be set during night time and this will allow us to set up our equipment efficiently and film the scenes without any disturbance from outsiders.
